The Computer seizes Radio Free Cybertron in a mock coup and names Transmetal 2 Jasontron the new host. This May 26, 2000 Radio Free Cybertron is a comedy episode with no outside news. John DeLuna’s ATT Buzz weighs whether humans or Transformers would win an all-out war. Jasontron reviews a bizarre, obscure Japanese figure, and Rattrap007’s trivia segment falls under Waspinator’s command.
The Computer Takes Over RFC
The Computer cuts Brian’s music, declares the show its own and threatens the world’s capitals in a comic takeover. It then introduces Jason and his talking griffon as the new regular host. Jason opens as Transmetal 2 Jasontron and runs the rest of the show.
ATT Buzz
John DeLuna covers an alt.toys.transformers thread asking who would win an all-out war, humans or Transformers. He argues the question is unfair, since kid-show robots get pitted against real-world weapons. A fair fight, he says, would use cartoon humans, who bungled just as much. He also takes on the yearly question of how to visualize ATT. His answer is a nightclub full of brawlers, wallflowers, snipers and late-night drunks at the bar, plus Zobovor.
Toy Review: God Panzer Lio
Jasontron reviews an obscure Japanese figure he calls God Panzer Lio, a joke review in the style of the show. He describes silver metallic horns, a long nose and a large silver codpiece. The figure transforms into a six-legged duck dung beetle Fuzor, which he says strikes no fear into the Decepticons. The segment is played for laughs, with an off-mic voice heckling throughout.
Rattrap007 Trivia
Rob, known as Rattrap007, thanks Brian for filling in for two weeks and returns to host trivia. Beast Wars Megatron has put Waspinator in charge of the segment, and the two bicker throughout. Last week’s answer was Powerglide, the first Autobot to appear in Season 2, but nobody wrote in. Rob blames a wrong email address given on air. This week’s question asks for the soap opera the Autobots were watching in “Prime Target.”
Closing
A string of voice clips interrupts the sign-off. Jasontron signs off, and The Computer gets the last laugh.
