Diecast and Anthony Brucali of TFU.info call in live from Hasbro’s New York Comic Con 2016 press event. Titans Return reveals Sky Shadow, an obvious Overlord in waiting with two Titan Masters, plus Perceptor with a working microscope. Broadside brings a sprue of tiny Aerialbots, and Legends Brawn finally appears. Robots in Disguise Combiner Force debuts, and Hasbro’s John Warden refuses to hold Sixshot’s submarine mode upside down.
NYCC 2016: First Look at Sixshot, Broadside, Sky Shadow, Perceptor and More
Leader class Sky Shadow is billed as a six-changer with two Titan Masters. Brian calls it a “pre-tool” of Overlord. Sixshot is a hair shorter than the G1 toy, and Hasbro calls Sky Shadow the second six-changer. Perceptor turns into a working microscope and uses glass from the original Perceptor mold. Voyager Broadside comes with tiny Aerialbots but no Alpha Bravo. Legends Brawn, Hot Rod, Doublecross, Getaway and Kickback round out the reveals. Titan Masters Fangry, Repugnus and Shuffler also appear, and Don loves Shuffler. [Source: TFormers]
Live From the Press Event
Diecast likes Sky Shadow most and calls Broadside’s Aerialbots sprue amazing. Anthony says Robots in Disguise Combiner Force mixes Armada-style Mini-Con unlocks with Energon-style tops and bottoms. The Combiner Force two-packs cost $14.99. Hasbro’s John Warden names Perceptor’s Titan Master Convex and says Bumblebee was simply not released in Brawn’s wave. Hasbro told Diecast to check back in about a month on a BotCon-type event. Warden also declined to hold Sixshot’s submarine mode upside down.
