Siege Deluxe wave 3 turns up at a Meijer in Ohio, bringing Refraktor, Brunt and Red Alert. The revised US cases carry only two Refraktors, so building the camera takes extra hunting. Takara Tomy shows the MP-44 Optimus Prime 3.0 box and a 54,000 yen price that includes Japanese sales tax. Cyberverse Spark Armor Cheetor, Blue Lobster’s X-Frank Autobot Spike and Mighty Muggs wave 2 round out the news. RFC also draws the first winner from its Hasbro 35th anniversary giveaway.

Transformers Siege Deluxe Wave 3 Found in the US

TFW2005 member Deceptitom found Siege Deluxe wave 3 at a Meijer in Ohio. The wave brings Refraktor, Brunt and Red Alert, plus a Hound reship. One host says the case was revised about six weeks ago to carry two Refraktors instead of three. He has also heard Target distribution centers have the wave, with a reset possible in two weeks. Three Refraktors combine into G1 Reflector’s camera. Through the chat, JT Prime notes the Siege decoder site shows a toy-accurate Reflector blueprint for the code ‘reflector’. One host would like a Generations Selects Reflector three-pack in toy-accurate colors. [Source: TFormers]

Tokyo Toy Show 2019: MP-44 Optimus Prime 3.0 Box Revealed

The MP-44 Optimus Prime box looks like any other Masterpiece box. The listed price of 54,000 yen includes Japan’s 8 percent sales tax. Buyers importing from outside Japan do not pay that tax. The crew has it slated for August, after a push from July. One host jokes he could be the first to break his. [Source: TFormers]

First Images of Cyberverse Spark Armor Cheetor

This is the first Cyberverse Cheetor toy. The crew likes the cheetah mode better and says the robot needs more color. The battleship add-on is reused from Spark Armor Bumblebee, with a retooled helmet. One host wants it but dislikes paying $25 when he would change almost every part. [Source: TFormers]

Blue Lobster X-Frank Unofficial Autobot Spike Figure

Brian says Blue Lobster’s first figure looks like a lost old man in a nightgown. The crew compares it to an Action Master with very limited articulation, scaled for Masterpiece. X-Transbots is making its own version, which the crew expects to be far better. One host notes Blue Lobster is aiming for a low price point. The crew now wants an Autobot Spike that transforms into a mismatched car. [Source: TFormers]

First Look: Wave 2 Transformers Mighty Muggs

Mighty Muggs wave 2 includes Nemesis Prime, Windblade, Grimlock, Ratchet and Soundwave. Each has three faces. The crew likes Grimlock and Ratchet and finds Soundwave sad and Nemesis Prime freaky. [Source: TFormers]

Shockwave Lab SL-52 Dai Atlas Upgrade Kit

John points collectors to Shockwave Lab’s SL-52 kit, which fills in the backs of Legends Dai Atlas’s calves. The company sells mostly through eBay, at $19.99 for the set. One host understands the kits are 3D printed in small runs. In tank mode, the fillers become missiles. [Source: not found]

More Than Meets the Eye Giveaway

RFC drew the winner of the BotBots Music Mob five-pack and blind pack from Hasbro’s 35th anniversary box. The winner is FemBot RoboGirl on Twitter. Siege Soundwave with Laserbeak and Ravage is next, followed by Cyberverse Megatron, Energon Igniters Bumblebee and Studio Series 38 Optimus Prime. Follow @tfradio on Twitter for each contest.

Transformers Crossovers Ectotron Photo Review

Rob highlights a photo review of Ectotron. It gives the first good look at Ecto-1’s roof rack turning into the proton pack. [Source: TFormers]

Transformers Siege Wave 3 In-Hand Photos

Rob points to in-hand photos of Siege wave 3. Brunt’s purple is hard to capture on camera. Thundercracker has the same silver splatter pattern as Starscream, which Rob calls awkward. Those photos convinced Chris to drop his Thundercracker preorder and sell his Starscream. He plans to get Generations Selects Red Wing as his one copy of the mold. [Source: TFormers]

IDW Transformers #6

Rob has not written his review yet, but he enjoyed issue #6 more than the earlier ones. It is mostly the history of Orion Pax and Megatron. It is also the first issue with a single artist, newcomer Bethany McGuire-Smith. Rob thinks new readers could start with this issue. [Source: Seibertron]

What We Got This Week

Rob received the Bumblebee movie from his Amazon wish list and plans to watch it soon.

Diecast got Studio Series Crankcase for $10 through Amazon. Another host says Crankcase likely shares a skeleton with The Last Knight’s Berserker, which is no fun to transform back.

Brian got Henkei Ratchet and still needs the Classics version. He also got Cyberverse Warrior Class Megatron and likes the robot mode, but calls the transformation silly. He now has Henkei Inferno to go with Classics Inferno, and its red is far more pleasing.
