Collecting Gone Wild
John shared a sealed first-print VHS of Transformers: The Movie that sold on eBay for about $430. Brian bid up to $656 on a 1985 St. Louis test-market McDonald’s Happy Meal box, with Transformers on one side and My Little Pony on the other. It sold for $676. He later learned a lot of six had sold in the past year, so he feels he dodged a bullet. He had already bought a frame for it.

Artwork for BotBots Ruckus Rally surfaced through a store inventory system. One host reads it as vehicle sets, like the old Bot Shots launchers. One vehicle is a spaceship made from a game controller, and the other is a race car made from a pizza slice. Retail support for BotBots has nearly vanished, so one host fears these will end up at Five Below. Brian will buy each vehicle and wants a toilet tank next. [Source: TFRadio]
Target Listings: Road Rage, Buzzworthy Bumblebee and Mystery Figures
Target listings include Kingdom Road Rage as a Target exclusive, filling Runabout’s Earthrise role. It is not marked RedCard yet. Buzzworthy Bumblebee adds a repack of the Bumblebee movie Power Charge Bumblebee and a mystery Deluxe Origins Bumblebee. Popular speculation points to a flying-saucer retool of Earthrise Cliffjumper. Mystery Optimus Prime and Megatron figures list at $50 each, plus an unnamed $40 assortment. A Canadian listing for Transformers Alabama turned out to be the Takara import Soundblaster. Studio Series 2022 Wave 1 Data Mining
Bumblebee movie Deluxes include Brawn, Wheeljack and Ratchet from the Cybertron opening, plus Voyager Soundwave. The crew notes John Bailey voiced Soundwave in the film. Studio Series 86 adds Deluxe Perceptor, Voyager Junkyard on the Wreck-Gar mold and Leader King Starscream. King Starscream is reportedly an Earthrise Starscream retool with a cape and crown, rumored to come with a throne. One host hopes Perceptor matches the Titans Return version without the Headmaster gimmick. [Source: TFRadio]
Project Jam is a new Transformers Collaborative listing at the Ectotron price point. Fans speculate about a Space Jam tie-in, while one supposed insider suggests a Blaster tied to a band. One host notes the Titans Return Blaster base could become a concert stage, and wishes it were a JAM Project crossover instead. Don jokes about two Airwaves forming a basketball court. What We Got This Week
Matt had only non-Transformers pickups this week.
Don got nothing this week.
Chris picked up a spare Airazor after his first developed a stress crack at a wing hinge. He also ordered a second Studio Series Jazz from Amazon Warehouse, as a backup for when the roof gives out.
Rob meant to send Kingdom Inferno to Wheeljack64 for his birthday but shipped it to himself first. He likes it, and unlike Grapple it needed no fixes. He also got Kingdom Ultra Magnus, which fixes most of what he disliked about the Siege version.
John had only non-Transformers pickups this week.
Brian got a sealed set of Armada Happy Meal figures for about $10. He replaced a stolen Ultimate Expanse after Target refunded him. A $15 Black Mamba Constructicon combiner from AliExpress forms a simple, chunky Devastator without Bonecrusher. His last pickup is an incomplete vintage G1 Soundblaster with its Buzzsaw and Fortress Maximus sticker.
