Titan Class Cybertron Metroplex arrives at 22 inches and $200, and the crew splits on the price and the character choice. Brian reports from a Hasbro fan media Q&A: nylon PA plastic is behind the yellowing, and Combiner Wars limbs only loosely fit Legacy Motormaster.
Movie Masterpiece Blackout heads to Target at about $158. In the haul, Matt finally gets a Legacy Galvatron with correct shoulders, and the crew names a burger the Don.

Hasbro Transformers Fan Media Q&A
Brian joined Hasbro’s fan media Q&A, and Ant of TFU.info took detailed notes. Jeremy from Transmissions asked about yellowing white plastic. Mark Maher traced it to PA, the nylon unpaintable plastic, and said the team will correct it going forward. Nothing was said about existing toys. Combiner Wars limbs fit Legacy Motormaster, but loosely, because the new port adds a notch. Brian suspects a patent or legal reason. Drill Bit was planned for Titan Class Metroplex early on but was cut for cost.
Brian asked about the inspiration for Legacy Jhiaxus. Mark fell for the character while working on the Thrilling 30 line and owns a Manny Galan comic page. Hasbro is working to send Simon Furman and Andrew Wildman copies of the toy. The team also stressed that Generations toys target kids, which is why smaller classes keep window boxes. Cardboard is at a premium, partly because Amazon buys so much of it. The Siege Soundwave repack may reflect a Walmart exclusivity window on the Netflix version. The crew calls the call fun but light on new information. [Source: not found]
Titan Class Cybertron Metroplex
IGN revealed Titan Class Cybertron Metroplex at 22 inches tall and $199.99. Brian likes the streamlined robot mode but balks at a price above the Victory Saber HasLab. Metroplex from the Cybertron cartoon means little to him, though he sees the value. One host has no interest at $200. He argues middle-aged G1 fans have had ten years of Titans, so newer fans deserve a turn. Tidal Wave is the crew’s dream Unicron trilogy Titan. Diecast suggests a Titan Class Cybertron Menasor, perhaps as an Omega Supreme homage. The box art shows Inferno, and JT Prime confirms in Discord that Beast Wars Inferno is in an upcoming Voyager wave. [Source: Autobase Aichi]
Movie Masterpiece Blackout surfaced as a Hasbro Asia exclusive, with Target expected in the US. Voltrace on TFW2005 pulled a $157.99 Target price, likely the most expensive Movie Masterpiece yet. It stands about 11.5 inches with 50 points of articulation and around 200 paint applications. Don has no strong feelings, since it does not look very different from the Studio Series version. Diecast owns many Movie Masterpiece figures and weighs whether he wants Blackout on that shelf. One host finds it a little lanky. [Source: Autobase Aichi]
Evan Design Images on Instagram
Hasbro designer Evan has been posting design images on Instagram, set against the final toys. His latest covers Studio Series 86 Scourge and, by extension, Sweep. Much of Scourge was locked in before he joined, so his work there was mostly deco. Fans can thank him for Scourge’s fingernails. [Source: Instagram]
What We Got This Week
Brian found a Studio Series 86 Sweep, only the second he has seen in a store, to go with his Scourge. Hasbro also sent him another box of product. At Dollar General he got Authentics Shockwave, which looks cool in the package.
Diecast ordered Core Class Iguanus. He likes the robot mode but had to open the instructions to transform it without forcing the arms. He also got two more Tesla figures, which have microscope and tank modes. His Moon Studios combiner piece this week is the lower torso, which comes packaged in shorts mode.
Matt got Legacy Skids and calls it a nice, solid toy, G1 with knees. The clear plastic doors have to clip in vehicle mode, and his copy has a scuff on one door. At Walmart he found Legacy Galvatron with correctly assembled shoulders and Legacy Laser Optimus Prime. He likes the cab robot a lot more than expected, but the trailer is shorter than the truck. He is now fine with trailerless Primes. Chris pitches an accessory pack whose box doubles as a trailer.
Rob got Coronation Starscream. His copy has a gap above the chest vents, but it still works fine.
