Transformers Tuesday: Titan Class Guardian Robot
Guardian Robot, the Omega Supreme redeco hinted on a Hasbro conference call, is up for preorder at $200 with Lunar-Tread. That is about $20 more than Black Zarak. The crew is tempted to buy a second, since storage is already a problem. Don plans to display one Omega Supreme flanked by two Guardian Robots. He also wants an Omega Spreme, which Chris thinks only Super7 would make. Matt predicts Devastator is the next HasLab. [Source: Hasbro Pulse]
Origins Jazz went up for preorder with new stock photos. It sold out on Pulse but is still on Target. Chris expects it to be solid-packed, so Don should find one in stores. [Source: Hasbro Pulse]
Transformers x Street Fighter II Two-Packs Return at Full Price
Target has the Street Fighter crossovers on clearance for as low as $18 per two-pack, yet Entertainment Earth relisted them at full price. The crew is baffled that these exclusives keep circulating more than five years later. [Source: TFormers]
EarthSpark Deluxe Optimus Prime Stock Photos
Chris credits the real truck windows on the chest, though they look odd on this body. The crew calls it a weird-looking Optimus Prime but accurate to the show. [Source: In Demand Toys]
Commander Armada Optimus Prime Works With Armada Overload
Newly leaked photos show Commander Armada Optimus Prime connecting to the original Armada Overload. Chris calls Overload the last of the great G1-style bricks. The crew debates whether a new Overload or Jetfire is coming. Matt would love a new Overload that also fits the old Armada Optimus Prime. [Source: Autobase Aichi]
NewAge H53 Michael Limited Edition
NewAge’s Legends-scale Omega Supreme costs $340, with a $34 deposit at Big Bad Toy Store. DX9’s Masterpiece-scale Gabriel is only about $220. Rob suspects die-cast parts and a small limited run drove the price. Don finds NewAge pricing all over the map. [Source: Big Bad Toy Store]
What We Got This Week
Matt
Matt had nothing in Transformers this week.
Don
Don got Matrix Workshop Targetmaster upgrades for Studio Series 86 Blurr and Hot Rod, plus a new Rodimus blaster for his DX9 Carry. An Amazon refund became credit, which went to Rise of the Beasts Core Class Arcee.
Diecast
Diecast got a sealed Alternators Ford GT from Big Bad Toy Store. That line got him back into Transformers.
Chris
Chris got Legacy Blitzwing cheap from Discord friend Eduardo. It confirmed his doubts: the jet mode never squares up, and he cannot make the gauntlet pieces work. He still praises the cartoon-accurate robot.
