New Legacy, Studio Series and Exclusive Listings Found: WFC Ratchet, Animated Motormaster, RID Side Burn, More

JT Prime’s new listings cover the back half of 2024. Legacy Universe adds Core Energon Galvatron, a second Rock Lord, Deluxe Slipstream, RID Sideburn and G1 Quake. Voyagers include Animated Motormaster and a package refresh of Metalhawk, reportedly a top seller in Asia. Walmart’s capsule is the Starseekers, a Transformers Prime concept, with Road Pig, Lockdown, Filch, Voyager Farrak and Leader Thundertron. Brian said it is not G2 Redux and he will likely pass. Chris is most curious how Road Pig is handled, since it is the G2 element. Studio Series adds SS86 Steeljaw, Wheeljack, a Gnaw refresh, a Heavy Metal Megatron and an A-level assortment with a possible 86 Bumblebee. JT Prime said the A-level assortment keeps A-list characters on shelves. [Source: TFW2005]

2024 Legacy and Studio Series Wave Breakdowns

New Listings for Transformers EarthSpark Deluxe

New EarthSpark Deluxe listings name Jawbreaker, Thrash, Aftermath and Prowl. One host is most interested in Prowl, likely a rerun of the Cyberverse mold, because his old copy has yellowed. Skybound’s Transformers (2023) Comic Series, 4-Page Preview of Issue #1

Transformers Studio Series SS-105 Deluxe Rise of the Beasts Mirage In-Hand Images

In-hand photos of Studio Series Mirage show a decent Porsche in a modern line. The crew does not hate it, but no one plans to buy it. [Source: TFW2005]

Transformers Generations Selects Voyager Antagony

A photo roundup of Generations Selects Antagony looks good to the crew, and one host has one on preorder. They asked again where the Fractal and Pack Rat two-pack is. Another wishes Hasbro would also do a BotCon Tigatron on the Legacy Ravage mold. [Source: TFW2005]

What We Got This Week

Chris

Chris got a Kingdom Paleotrex from Discord member Pathfinder 2883, from his Amazon wishlist. Discord member the gooch made him an offer he could not refuse on a complete Unite Warriors Megatronia. Chris thinks its color scheme works better than Victoria’s, and he loves the combined sword. Now only Baldigus and Thunder Mayhem remain on his Combiner Wars list.

Diecast

In a TFSource sale, Diecast got the Fans Toys US-version Thomas homage and a limited Make Toys seeker redeco.

Don

Don’s G.I. Joe and Masters of the Universe pickups were off-topic. On topic, Studio Series Brawn arrived today.

Matt

Matt had nothing this week.

Rob

Rob’s pickups were off-topic.

Brian

Brian finally got the orange G2 Jazz from the Toxitron Collection for $12 from Walmart online. He had forgotten the toy lacks the four wings and finds it less pretty than he expected. After a bad week, he also bought the boxed Hobby GoBots set at about 25% under the going rate, after regretting selling his first one.
