Hasbro has filed a trademark for Hasbro Makits, an in-house model kit line, and the crew debates whether it is chasing Blokees and Yolopark or something bigger. TakaraTomy officially teases an Age of the Primes Monstructor for Japan, due in the US around August 1. The Legacy Evolution Commander Armada Universe Optimus Prime reissue goes up for preorder at $100. Then HasLab Liokaiser arrives, and Brian calls it his favorite HasLab by far.

There Goes My Money Recorded
The newest There Goes My Money was recorded with Diecast, Triplet, Spider Bob, Sean and Kevin Dorsey, and it hits the public feed around Sunday. Touch-tier patrons at patreon.com/tfradio can join future recordings, and another is planned in about a week and a half.
TakaraTomy Officially Teases Upcoming Products
TakaraTomy officially teased the products the crew heard about last week, plus an Age of the Primes Monstructor for Japan. Its listings also include Studio Series Astrotrain, Shockwave and Skywarp. In the US, Monstructor arrives around August 1 in Selects-style packaging. Brian admits he still has not opened Dinoking. [Source: TFW2005]
Legacy Evolution Commander Armada Universe Optimus Prime Reissue
The Commander Class Armada Universe Optimus Prime is back for preorder at $100, up from $89.99. The crew calls it an excellent pickup for anyone who missed it, especially alongside the new Jetfire it combines with. Now they just need Overload, maybe at Leader size. [Source: TFW2005]
Hasbro Files Trademark for Hasbro Makits
Hasbro filed a trademark for Hasbro Makits, a new in-house model kit line. Brian notes Walmart may sell more Blokees than Transformers. Don wonders if the kits could transform, and Brian sees savings in selling a toy still on the sprue. Others worry Hasbro would compete with licensees that pay it fees. Rob points to the booming kit market, where Gundam revenue jumped in 2025, and says kits could skip some drop tests. The filing also mentions playsets, and Don wants an Autobot City. Brian reminds everyone that Hasbro’s market researchers see far more than fans do. [Source: TFW2005]
History on the Fives
Ten years ago this week, in 2016, TakaraTomy released a Japan-exclusive Transformers Adventure four-pack: Team Bumblebee versus Thunderhoof, with Bumblebee, Windblade and Fixit in new decos. Brian loves Transformers Adventure, is keeping it as he purges for pinball, and needs to fill gaps in his collection.
What We Got This Week
Diecast had nothing opened that he can talk about yet.
Don got HasLab Liokaiser and is very happy with it. The instructions are clear, the bots are chunky, and the robot modes are less compromised than he feared, so he wishes he had bought two. Sliding Jaguar and Leozack together took some pushing, and Jaguar’s hip missiles were tricky. He would buy a second in Rescue Force colors. He also got Metal Cardbot figures: the ambulance Mega Ambular, the tiger tank Tigun, the orange jet Celios and Knight Griffin.
Matt got Liege Maximo, who sits in the Starscream throne and transforms into nothing, which he loves. His only nitpicks are the unpainted shin wiring and one very tight chest clip. His HasLab Liokaiser arrives tomorrow.
Rob had nothing on topic this week.
Brian got Studio Series Skywarp, which does not blend with his Earthrise version. He also got Action Master Megatron in a Transformer Land flash sale. HasLab Liokaiser is his favorite HasLab by far, with simple G1-style transformations, satisfying combining and a spot for every piece. He wants it again in Rescue Force colors.
