The set uses Diaclone-era colors and includes Cybertron Powerdrive and Secret Agent Arcee. Spider-Bob and Shawn preordered it, and Don bought it at BigBadToyStore for $145. He says Hasbro Pulse later listed it for about $10 less.
  • Dramatic Capture Series Dinobot Island, Part 1: ¥17,050 (approx. $108.53 USD) in Japan, or $124.99 at The Chosen Prime. Japan ships late February 2027 and The Chosen Prime ships April 2027. Shawn preordered the Grimlock and Ratchet two-pack. David doesn’t see an upgrade, and Don worries about the Dinobot sets to come.
  • Volcanicus 3D-print project: Alpha Magnus mentions a free Bambu Lab print set that turns the current Dinobots into Volcanicus.

Synergenex

  • Transformers × Evangelion Evangelion Prime Unit-02: ¥11,000 (approx. $70.02 USD) in Japan, or $89.99 at The Chosen Prime. Japan ships late March 2027 and The Chosen Prime ships April 2027. Brian preordered it and David plans to buy. Don passes on the Rodimus-faced Prime.

Licensed and Collaboration Releases

  • Hot Wheels × Transformers Bumblebee: $65 at Mattel Creations, with a limit of three per customer. Don and David call it poor value. Diecast is surprised it hasn’t sold out.
  • Blokees Transformers 2026 Advent Calendar: $79.99 at Entertainment Earth, October 2026. Diecast is excited about the Christmas Optimus and the Bruticus kit. Alpha Magnus wants the Ultra Magnus and the clear Hound.
