Finally: Nezha Transformers Trailer Hits Facebook, Looks Very Cyberverse
Rob says the trailer reuses Cyberverse character models for the existing Transformers. That explains the Cyberverse-based construction sets seen earlier. The series runs 52 episodes and may get a release outside China. The trailer is the most anyone has seen so far. The crew hopes the toys reach Hasbro Pulse. [Source: TFormers]
Nezha Transformers: New Nezha Figure Surfaces on Weibo, Official or Not?
The figure pairs a human Nezha with a robot, and the human fits inside the chest like a Brainmaster. The crew guesses it sits around Deluxe or Voyager size, with a Titan Master-scale Nezha. Two hosts want one. [Source: TFormers]
Studio Series Roadbuster, Jet Shatter, Jeep Bumblebee Official Details and Hi-Res Images
Brian is not enthralled with Studio Series but likes the look of all three. Roadbuster interests him most for its Chevrolet and NASCAR licensing. He notes from past work that NASCAR licenses renew yearly. Don likes the Jeep Bumblebee but feels the mold should be a different character. Shatter’s jet mode looks great, and one host has already preordered. [Source: TFormers]
Banana Force LTD MPL-02 Great Armor Reveal: Unofficial Ultra Magnus / God Fire Convoy
Don, the crew’s biggest Fire Convoy fan, likes the look but balks at the price. The non-transforming figure runs about $203 at best and $240 to $250 at most retailers. With the matching Fire Convoy, a complete God Fire Convoy nears $400. The listing gives its size as 10.6 inches. Don wants QC feedback before committing to a new company. One host says Takara gave him the most QC trouble this year. [Source: TFormers]
Don also reports that Amazon moved up its Siege Spinister and Crosshairs deliveries to mid-December.
Contest Winner and RFC Awards
Richard Mitchell wins the Siege Crosshairs from the Facebook contest. Brian also plans official RFC Awards this year, with a listener ballot to compare against the crew’s picks.
Transformers Reanimated
Brian plugs the double-sized G1 Christmas issue of Transformers Reanimated, a fan project bridging season two and the 1986 movie.

What We Got This Week
Matt got an X-Transbots G2-colored Stunticon, Siege Spinister and Siege Crosshairs. He gave Crosshairs the Targetmaster from the Takara set and loves how the colors disguise the Ironhide mold. His Siege Star Convoy surprised him by looking just like Optimus Prime in the box. He likes the remolded legs and torso but warns the thin gold chrome chest piece breaks easily.
Rob only picked up non-Transformers items this week.
Don got Star Convoy and a second Siege Ratchet for white hands to swap onto Crosshairs. He found Siege Soundblaster at Walmart and Rumble and Ratbat at Target. He added NewAge’s Smokescreen for $25 and a third-party movie Optimus Prime called Challenger for about $87 shipped.
Diecast picked up Weaponizer Power Dasher Aragon, Siege Impactor, Crosshairs and Spinister. He calls Spinister the Deluxe of the year.
Brian found an AllSpark Tech starter set with Squeaks at Bargain Hunt. His Siege Star Convoy’s gold chest star snapped off, and Hasbro Pulse is asking its international team for a replacement. A misassembled part may cause the problem, and he plans to paint a repair if needed. He also found a complete 1984 Transformers pinball game for under $80, with its pinballs still sealed. Hasbro sent him a BotBots Series 3 box framed as a Christmas Carol, with ghosts of BotBots past, present and future. It previews Series 4, including gold Winner’s Circle chase figures. He opened Make Over and Over and Nappy, a baby bed that turns into a dinosaur.
