A rumored G.I. Joe crossover pairs Sgt. Slaughter with his Triple T tank, and the crew would rather have the Warthog. Hasbro Asia’s limited Legacy Menasor five-pack comes in its own box with a G1 Menasor pin. Legacy Evolution Wave 1 Voyagers hit US retail in Virginia. Hasbro’s press release for Studio Series Airazor finds few takers.

Legacy Evolution Wave 1 Voyagers Found at US Retail

Legacy Evolution Wave 1 Voyagers turned up in Fairlakes, Virginia. Elsewhere, the crew’s own stores are trashed or still resetting. One Walmart looks like an Ollie’s dumped on the shelves. Core Class Sludge, Slag and Sound Blaster have shipped through Amazon. Someone also found Velocitron Shadow Strip and Crasher at Walmart. [Source: TFW2005]

Rise of the Beasts Studio Series Airazor Officially Revealed

Hasbro sent a press release for Studio Series Airazor, a figure already seen in leaks. The crew finds it drab, part of a monochrome trend in movie designs. One host calls these some of the best-looking movie toys ever, but doesn’t need it next to his Kingdom Airazor. [Source: BWTF]

Legacy Menasor Five-Pack From Hasbro Asia

Hasbro Asia’s China flagship store has a Legacy Menasor five-pack: the standard figures in a new outer box. Reports suggest only about 100 exist. It includes a G1 Menasor pin. Matt would love the box, though he wants a window display, and he’s glad it isn’t G2 colors at those numbers. No price or ordering details are known. [Source: Autobase Aichi]

Rumor: G.I. Joe Collaborative Triple T With Sgt. Slaughter

The Full Force podcast says Sgt. Slaughter mentioned at a convention that he’s working on a Transformer. The crew assumes the Triple T, though one host points out he didn’t name a vehicle. Two hosts prefer the Warthog, the bridge layer that looks like a mini sandcrawler. One host says the collaboratives disappoint at the design level, and he hasn’t bought one yet. Another jokes that he’ll hold out for an Arctic Blast crossover. [Source: TFW2005]

Show Changes

Brian says the live stream will change. YouTube will no longer carry a placeholder, so viewers should watch for notifications. The crew recorded a few days late with a small group. Brian also wishes Chris a happy birthday.

What We Got This Week

Don

After Amazon shipped him a Hot Shot inside a Needlenose box, Don finally has both in their proper packaging. He got Breakdown to complete his Stunticons. Iron Factory’s samurai Grimlock was free with rewards points. He also got New Age’s pearlescent Legends Jetfire and a Legacy Skywarp from a Walmart floor.

Rob

Rob’s pickups this week were not Transformers.

Matt

Matt finally got LEGO Optimus Prime as a Christmas gift. He also got Legacy Breakdown, which he likes better than Wild Rider for its paint and solid car mode. He wishes more of the car had been retooled, and he dislikes the removable spoiler.

Brian

Brian got Legacy Evolution Core Class Sludge, which he expects to be the worst of the set. Core Class Sound Blaster looks great, but its right shoulder is far too tight. He finally opened Unite Warriors Megatronia and calls it gorgeous, better than Victorion.
