IndieWire posts the full Transformers One screenplay, and Exvee, filling in for Brian, loves the movie more with every viewing. Walmart listings reveal how the twist-together Swapticons work, and a cab-only Hot Wheels Optimus Prime proves the crew does not understand Hot Wheels. Diecast is all in on the Yolopark AMK Pro Clear Optimus Prime, and Auldey’s Action Elite figures show up in hand. In What We Got This Week, Don rides the Walmart sales, Diecast finally lands a clean Galaxy Shuttle, and Exvee picks up Lunar Cruiser Optimus Prime and a bootleg Metrotitan.
Elf on the Shelf Warmer Wrap-Up
Exvee thanked everyone who donated during this year’s Elf on the Shelf Warmer Toys for Tots campaign. He reminded listeners that local children’s charities need help all year, not just at the holidays.

IndieWire Posts the Transformers One Screenplay
IndieWire posted a downloadable PDF of the Transformers One script, which runs over 100 pages. Exvee has seen the movie two or three times and wishes it had earned enough to guarantee a sequel. One host said it is the first time in the franchise he truly understands how Megatron became the Decepticon leader. One host would love to see D-16’s arc stretched across a 13-episode season. Walmart Listings Explain the Swapticons Gimmick
Walmart listings show Swapticons as two-packs of tiny figures at about $8 each. Pushing two robots together and twisting combines them into one alternate mode, and the halves can mix and match. The listed pairs are Megatron and Shockwave, Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus, Bumblebee and Hot Rod, Grimlock and Snarl, and Shadow Panther and Ravage. The crew joked about a two-headed cat or a dinosaur head on a cat’s rear. One host plans to pick up a couple, since the play pattern sounds better than the EarthSpark Tacticons. [Source: TFW2005]
Hot Wheels Basic Optimus Prime Shown In Package
A Hot Wheels basic assortment Optimus Prime is coming as a cab with no trailer, reportedly in case F. One host confirmed it differs from the Track Fleet cab, with silver wheels and no raised trailer notch. Don held up a standard 2025 Hot Wheels card that dwarfs the Optimus package in photos. One host summed up the segment: “Man, I really hate Hot Wheels,” because he can never find the one he wants. [Source: TFW2005]
Yolopark AMK Pro Clear Optimus Prime Opens Limited Pre-Orders
The Yolopark AMK Pro Clear Optimus Prime, originally a Cybertroncon 2024 exclusive, opens pre-orders on Yolopark’s web store from December 19 to 30. Diecast will absolutely order one, since the clear plastic keeps rich reds and blues instead of muted colors. Don owns a clear knockoff MP-10 and thinks the new figure would shine under the right lighting. The crew would love a matching clear Galvatron next. [Source: TFW2005]
Mark Maher Shows Off Age of the Primes Armada Red Alert
Hasbro’s Mark Maher posted Instagram photos of Age of the Primes Armada Red Alert. The crew praised how bright and opaque the white plastic looks. One host is now considering it after skipping the pre-order. One host wishes Cannonball had come off this mold, and the crew discussed how store exclusives have largely replaced Generations Selects. Auldey Transformers Action Elite Wave 1 Shown In Hand
In-hand photos of Auldey’s blind-box Transformers Action Elite Wave 1 surfaced from Southeast Asia. The crew called Starscream the triumph of the wave, with the face and expression done right. Arcee’s head and arm coloring looked off, and Kickback looked the most simple. Rob suggested pairing Kickback with a second sculpt in insect mode. The Optimus Prime stands about waist-high to Studio Series 86 Optimus Prime, so smaller figures likely ship with more Energon cubes. [Source: TFW2005]
What We Got This Week
Don
Don rode the Walmart sales to his second Blokees kit, Rise of the Beasts Arcee, for $9.97. Donanomics landed Legacy United Galvatron for $11, and an Amazon credit covered Legacy United Overcharge. He also got a Bombshell with a bonus Ramhorn for $10. From Big Bad Toy Store, he grabbed X-Transbots James and Bond, their Masterpiece-style Punch/Counterpunch, at half off. He added Magic Square’s masterpiece-scale Brawl and a DK-47 upgrade kit for his Legends Dinobots.
Rob Clay
Rob Clay received a Transformers One Blu-ray from Wheeljack64. From the Walmart sale, he got Farrak for $10, Bombshell and Ramhorn, and 40th anniversary Optimus Prime for $35.
John DeLuna
John DeLuna got Legacy United Overcharge and actually likes the giant hands.
Diecast
Diecast got Farrak, his favorite version of the mold thanks to its painted eyes. He ordered two more toy-style G1 Optimus Primes at $35, though most of his copies arrived with damaged boxes. He finally got a reissued Galaxy Shuttle whose Autobot symbols line up properly.
Exvee
Exvee picked up a Nonnef Legacy Galvatron upgrade with a toy-style rifle and a Matrix chain for Selects Galvatron. He calls Lunar Cruiser Optimus Prime one of the best Takara-engineered exclusives in years, despite its soft antennas. A bootleg Metrotitan with decent plastic means he will cancel his Dr. Wu super-deformed Metrotitan pre-order. Walmart’s $13 Transformers One Quintessons netted him three, and a $24 Party Wallop at Target will become a Nonnef Metalhead. At Second Chance Toys he found a $7 core class Cheetor and a $15 Firecon Flamefeather with a working spark wheel. At Hobby Town, his first Blokees were a robot-mode Grimlock and a Transformers One trooper, and he grabbed Cannonball at Walmart on the drive home.
